About the Journal

Mission

The Journal of Management Prospective (JMP) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to advancing the theory and practice of management. JMP publishes original research that generates new knowledge, challenges established thinking, and addresses the evolving challenges facing organisations across sectors and geographies.

JMP is committed to making rigorous scholarship freely accessible to researchers, educators, practitioners, and policymakers worldwide — without subscription barriers or article processing charges for authors.

Scope

JMP welcomes submissions across the full breadth of management and organisational studies, including strategic management, organisational behaviour, human resource management, innovation and entrepreneurship, public administration, sustainability, leadership, and management education. Publisher

JMP is published by Global Panacea Pvt. Ltd. under the MSSRN PRESS imprint, headquartered in Kathmandu, Nepal. The publisher is committed to the highest standards of scholarly publishing ethics and is a member of relevant professional publishing bodies.

Publication Frequency

JMP publishes two issues per year (bi-annual): one in the first half and one in the second half of the calendar year. Articles that have completed peer review and editorial processing may be published online ahead of the print issue via the OJS platform.

Open Access Policy

JMP is a fully open-access journal. All articles are freely available immediately upon publication under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence. Authors retain copyright of their work. There are no article processing charges (APCs) or submission fees. See our Open Access Policy for full details.

Peer Review

All manuscripts submitted to JMP undergo double-blind peer review. Each submission is evaluated by a minimum of two independent expert reviewers. The editorial office aims to provide authors with an initial decision within 8–10 weeks of submission. See our Peer Review Policy for more information.

Indexing & Abstracting

JMP is indexed in Crossref (DOI assignment), Google Scholar, NepJOL, PKP Index, BASE (Bielefeld Academic Search Engine), ResearchGate, and WorldCat. Articles receive permanent Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) via Crossref. See our full Indexing page for details.

Digital Preservation

JMP participates in the PKP Private LOCKSS Network (PKP PN) for distributed digital preservation. This ensures the long-term availability of all published content independent of the journal's operational continuity.

Ethics & Integrity

JMP adheres to the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All submissions are screened for plagiarism using iThenticate.
